Hello my name is Karen Bell . I have been envolved with the akita for 14 years .My first Akita was murphy (non Papered).This was the start of my love for this magnificant breed of dog .
So next off to Australia where I purchased NZ CH Viceroy Polar . So i could start into the world of dog showing. I showed for many years and then had a 3 year gap from showing due to starting my own family which consists of my son Corey and daughter Melissa .
I have in the last four years gone back to showing with my mother Pam Bell and her beloved pugs Co owning them with her. In this time making up 4 new Christabell Champions.
We also produced Christabell Skye's Viper, who has made history, Youngest ever Akita in New Zealand to go Best In Show ( Allbreeds) at the tender age of 8 months,She will be an asset to our Kennel.
May 2007 we decided to purchase a stunning new dog from our good friends Carl and Julie Nicholl's from the well known Kennels in the UK ( SHYLLAR AKITAS). We can't thank them enough for this fantastic dog, He is a joy to own. He sure is turning heads in the show world. This boy is all AKITA.
My Mum, Dad and I are away alot of weekends , We enjoy travelling and each other's company , usually spending most of the time talking dogs.Also helping with handling friends other breeds which i love.
We are situated 30 mins from Wellington ( Capital of New Zealand ). We have 2.5 Acres . Perfect for a family with Akita's.
We are dedicated to this lovely bear like breed, and we endevour to breed as close to the standard as possible.
